It takes about 500 honey bees to make 1kg of honey. The bees travel the equivalent of three orbits of the earth in distance, and it takes them about four weeks.

In honey season, our beekeepers monitor when different types of flowers are blooming and place the hives in the right place at the right time to create different types of honey.
NZ honey

We guarantee you’re getting pure New Zealand honey, because we own our own hives. Also, honey can’t be imported to New Zealand, so if it’s packed in this country it’s definitely from here.
